Lots of glaciers! The area around Calafate was very stark and rugged.

Far bigger than Niagara in area bit less in volume. Iguassu Falls is on the border between Brazil and Argentina.

Cape Horn lighthouse is manned by a Chilean naval officer with his wife and child on a 12 month posting. When the weather is good, visitors like us provide a bit of extra income through the sale of postcards and odds and ends.

Now into the second half of our travels and we’ve arrived in Patagonia via Whistler (Canada), Peru, Bolivia and Sandiago (Chile).
